Works great with "normal" websites. Tried to download some documents from a QuickPlace (Lotus Notes) site as an archiving experiment but didn't succeed. Comes up with the password request but fails to download. Mario

This is superb. I am about to go with my 80-year-old father to Northern France and Belgium to where my grandfather (his father) served during the 1914-18 War. Since 3G broadband is still stupidly expensive for UK users abroad, I was expecting to have an internet 'blackout'. Thanks to PageNest, we can take various key websites with us ... and it is SO easy to use - sincere thanks !!!

This program is great for multiple uses. I am using it to make sure I always have a website that I am worried might not be there in a few months.

PageNest Free: very good, still needs tweaks I tried several "download the entire site" programs recently, and PageNest Free was one of the easiest to use, and had a very clear and easy to understand interface. The one problem that prevented it from being my number one choice tool in this category was that I couldn't figure out how to stop it from downloading files from other domains. Best free choice I have found so far but: Program is not stable, crashed on me several times. Even though I tell it not to relink anything it insists on altering code. My purpose for this type of tool is to download potential clients existing sites and make changes to it as offerings to them. I need folder structure and code to be exactly as it is in site with no changes. My revamped code needs to fit in their existing folder structures with no cliches. Alshalaly comments. Your software product has alot of advantages. But unfortunately it did not help me too much because I am trying to use it to download entire websites with it's all links content which are pictures(photos) but your program download only the first page and what I got only the small images which are very small and iam looking for the large pictures from the gallery website. And I want to get what I am in need of while I am online in my workplace so that I can surf them offline while I am home.

I wanted to use your product to map my site but it only “saw” eight of my 109 pages. I guess you can’t handle JavaScript links. Too bad.

Not supported with .net2.0 + version I have download Site Map Builder .NET, and try to install but it's requiered .net 1.1 framwork, but i have .net2.0 and .net3.5 framwork.So i enable to install this.

Great utility! I've used this utility to make Google-friendly sitemap files. Google likes them, and that's all that matters. Great utility! Use it with joy!

sitmap builder Its easy and good to build...but one thing how to delete the urls with .jpg, .css, .gif, .swf etc at a time , here we can delete one by one but it takes time...and how to divide the sitemaps if it becomes big....

Thumbs Up Ease of use, especially for the novice

somewhat useful A nice utility, but may not be sufficient for out needs. It looks that when a site is detected as 'down'... the utility stops attempting to reach that site. In other words, the error log may contain the time when a website 'went down', but does not go on automatically continue to check the site for when it 'comes up'. This might be a good tool if it is constantly monitored, but not as usefull if one would like to (perhaps) collect up/down statistics over a period of time.

want to monitor citrix access essential websi One of my cusotmer is having citrix access essentials, offlate there has been some issues with website not opening, when website stops responding there is no service or process failure, restarting website doesnt help, once server is rebooted website works fine for a week to 10 days & then again website hangs & webpage doesnt open, found your utility siteup usefull but when i add URL & click on check sites now website utility just hangs too:(. Also tried out the XENU\'s Link Sleuth application, which has a better look and is faster.The output of this Free Link Checker is more verbose. Actually prefer tabular format like the one in Xenu\'s

I am experiencing difficulties accessing Gmail and I used your tool to try to identify and resolve the problem. The answer I received was: "error 404- the link does not exist". In other words I am at exactly the same point I was before downloading your program.

Reporting is indeterminate Unfortunately, I wasn't able to produce a report that was useful. Even after setting various reporting options regarding recursion and levels of nesting, the output was a simple one or two liner suggesting a broken link, but no details or URL for the broken link.

I just installed the software and am already moving forward with ideas and pages. I\'m very impressed with the freeware. I may look into the more powerful version. I like this and could do a lot with the free package.

Mostly OK The WinHTTrack was a pleasant suprise, but still, I didn't get quite the same stuff as there were in the original. What went wron I don't know, because I couldn't find any file missing compare to the mirror I afterwards created with Linux and wget.The wget mirror looked just like the original with graphical pushbuttons and all. Simple site that I got "home" before the domain expires.But sure, WinHTTrack was nice experience with GUI, quite intuitive to use. So propably I start with it next time, too.***mate

great program This program was great once I learned how to use it.. All the options are not explained so I got a few errors the first couple times around.. but after figuring it out, I LOVE IT!Its free too! :)

Didn`t need to look any further..... If you are like me, it is very difficult to sit and read technical documents from a website on the screen. Select a page - wait for it to load etc. So I just captured the lot and printed everything - HTTrack worked flawlessly. Many years ago I used it successfully for a travel site and this time when I needed another similar I tool, I searched for it (I knew it was ht something and downloaded the latest version...I didn't need to research any other tools as I knew this one worked.
